Ifyou have, then this is the course for you. ‘Kuali’ is the Malaysian word for wok and this course will introduce you to the intermarriage of foods from the major ethnic groups. Seasoning & Flavour Building
This course provides participants an insight into the many seasoning and flavour building ingredients most people have in their home, but are never sure where and when to use them. Items covered will include: Pan seared steaks with sauteed mushrooms • Garlic creamed potatoes with cream cheese and yogurt • Oriental stir fry vegetables with ginger, Soya sauce and sesame oil. We will also discuss common items in most home fridges and where to use them, such as worster sauce, hot sauce, ketchup, mayonnaise, curry paste, horseradish, sour cream, yogurt, cream cheese, etc.

Wine & Dine
Learn about wine and food pairings. Enjoy a 3 course meal, prepared by one of the Lethbridge College’s chefs. Adult Culinary Boot Camp
This camp explores advanced culinary techniques in preparing modern savoury and sweet recipes that focus on eye appeal, nutritional value and presentation. Students completing the adult boot camp will be able to prepare, cook, season and present a four course meal suitable for entertaining at home plus pick up handy tips for preparation and service skills. Note: Students in this course will learn about wine and food pairing. Tuition includes chef’s jacket, hat, all food products and food samples
