“I knew I wanted to attend Lethbridge College after touring the campus; it had a great atmosphere. I have learned everything from fundamental art and design skills to using AutoCAD for full-blown design projects. The College lets me explore the industry I’m so passionate about through real work experience.”

  • two-year diploma
  • September admission
  • practicums involve industry and community-based projects

Do you look at the interior of a restaurant, hospital, office or home and think to yourself, “These spaces need work”?

With Lethbridge College’s two-year diploma program, you’ll be learning the practical skills – and honing your own creative energy – so that you can use design to improve homes, businesses, retail and hospitality spaces.

But interior design is more than just a job. You can make a difference, helping to improve people’s health, make their workplaces safer or their dining experiences more enjoyable. Community-based practicums let you give back while gaining valuable experience. In fact, some of our students were selected to work with the architect on the renovations for the Andrews Building on our campus. In the classroom, we’ll stimulate your design imagination by teaching you how to develop solutions to design problems you’ll encounter in the workforce. You’ll work with other students who also have a passion for design, on laptops equipped with the latest design software.

As a final bonus, know this: employers ask for Lethbridge College grads. With the knowledge and skills we teach you, you’ll be ready to practice interior design at the pre-professional level.

How you design your career is up to you.

Our grads find careers as:

  • Assistants to Interior Designers and Architects
  • Kitchen, Bath or Home Designers
  • Commercial or Residential Designers
